Commissioned by Singer Studios to create an atmospheric teaser trailer for their new VR game The Pirate Queen.

The Pirate Queen tells the story of Cheng I Sao, a widow who took over her husband's fleet and became the most powerful pirate of all time, commanding over 70,000 men in the lead up to the Opium Wars. It's a story-driven VR puzzle game centred on the night of her succession.

Supported by Creative England and BFI ScreenSkills, and executive produced by Dr Dave Ranyard (David Attenborough’s ‘Hold the World’). The Pirate Queen has been nominated for multiple awards and won The Discovery Award for Best Debut at Raindance Film Festival 2021.
